Many states no longer permit match ignition. We have manufactured thousands of oven safety valve systems for Chambers, Magic Chef, O'Keefe & Merritt, Western-Holly, Wedgewood, Anderson and many other ranges that were not sold with a safety valve addition. Why take a chance on the safety of yourself, your family or property when you can order this relatively easy to install unit for your range. This addition is a wise investment since your stove will be worth more money if you ever decide to sell it. With the addition of the oven safety valve system if the flame in your oven should go out for any reason, the flow of gas into the oven cavity will be sealed off, inhibiting any raw gas from filling the compartment and possibly causing a full-blown gas explosion in your residence. (Raw gas continues to creep until it finds it's first source of ignition. Nothing is worth this risk.)   NOTE: Let us know the type of stove you have or better yet, send pictures to: toac@sbcglobal.net . We can see the approximate age and brand of stove and get back to you with information asap so your stove will have the safety needed for years to come.      GAS STOVE PARTS - New - Used - New Old Stock - Remanufactured   If you have been searching for rare gas stove parts to complete your range and have almost given up -- DON'T! We feature a FREE Parts Location Service. TRY IT - IT'S FREE! All you need to do is send several clear, large pictures of the parts you need to find, replace or get repaired to toac@sbcglobal.net. In the title please place> EB Stove Parts Search.  We cycle your requests to all 13 warehouses at one time. If we don't have the used or new old stock parts you need, recontact us within 30 - 45 days. There are other methods to locate special parts that we can suggest if we don't carry what you need for just about any antique appliance.    Stove and Oven Replacement Insulation  ~Premium Grade~   If you have been searching for HIGH HEAT STOVE and OVEN REPLACEMENT INSULATION  your search has ended. We have two types that are always on hand, ready to ship and we sell miles and miles of it every year. Type #1 is used up to 1000 degrees and Type #2 is used in ovens up to 2200 degrees. If you want to use the newest and best stove and oven insulation in your new, classic, antique or modern stove - this is the right way to go.     Has Your Range Been Under Attack by Rodents or Insects?  (Detour: CHECK OUT THE LAST PICTURE IN THE GROUP BELOW. THIS IS INSULATION THAT MUST BE REPLACED.)   NOTE: This picture was taken with the panels of this stove removed. Who would ever want to cook food for themselves or their family if they knew what a disgusting, filthy mess is lurking not even a quarter inch away.   It doesn't matter if you have a classic stove like an O'Keefe & Merritt, Wedgewood, Magic Chef, Quickmeal, Chambers, Western-Holly, Gaffers & Sattler, Occidental, Welbilt, Roper, Anderson, or if you have a newer stove like a Jenn-Air, G.E. or any commercial stove. Once the insulation needs to be replaced, there is no alternative if you wish to keep using your stove. By installing fresh high heat stove insulation you can eliminate having to buy a replacement range and do it yourself! The savings are fantastic.   Once the unit is cleaned and the old insulation is replaced your stove will be as good as new, ready to cook for years to come. E-mail your questions right now to: toac@sbcglobal.net to get your replacement insulation on the road to your doorstep fast or call 805-643-3532.     ~ Yours FREE WITH EVERY INSULATION ORDER~ All New - Just Released   "5 Easy Steps to Perfect Oven and Stove Insulation Replacement" (sent to you by e-mail -- Includes:)   IMPORTANT BONUS INFORMATION   ~How To to Keep Your Stove Insulation Critter-Free for Years~      Speciality Antique Stove Parts Sold and Newly Manufactured   We manufacture new door and folding canopy top springs for Chambers, O’Keefe & Merritt, Wedgewood and many other fine antique ranges from the finest quality materials!   We also carry replacement door handles – door cables – Salt & Pepper Shakers – Simmer Burner Caps – Wiring – Burner Head Gaskets – Block Off Kits, New Chambers flashtube replacements – O'Keefe & Merritt and Wedgewood Stove Dials, knobs, handles, pilot assemblies, MR2 safety valve adapters, minipilots, oven door and light switches and cords, stove legs, tubing and many more items that are getting more difficult to find with each passing year.   Simply e-mail pictures of what you need rebuilt or replaced to: toac@sbcglobal.net with measurements so we can analyze what we have in stock and how rapidly we can fill the order.     ~~~~~~~~~~~~FAST SERVICE~~~~~~~~~~~~ All Credit and Debit Cards, Pay Pal and e-checks accepted for rapid ordering.   We want to make it as easy as possible so you can order and get what you need right away! This type of information is available to you so your stove will provide years of carefree service.   During the past 40 years of business, we have developed trade secrets that we are now passing on to the consumer with their orders. Truthfully, there aren't many of the old timers left to work on antique stoves, as you might have found out. We realize newer appliance companies do not wish to absorb the learning curve and that is exactly why we will help you with time-proven techniques to get your range working correctly.   You will not find any publications that will detail out quickly and accurately exactly what needs to be done to save the most money and cut out any frustration completely.     Imagine what a delightful pleasure it will be to enjoy using your antique stove again to create delicious mouth-watering meals for you, your family and friends!     INFORMATION and PUBLICATIONS    The Good Stuff Boiled Down for Home Use   Restoring just about any vintage item is not only fun and fascinating work, but a gateway into the world of preservation.   What you will learn about refinishing (and yourself) during the process is a real eye opener. If you would like to know more about how to do your own restoration work....you have definitely come to the right place.   We carry our own line of copyrighted publications that have been purchased by stove rebuilding companies and service people throughout the world for decades. Interestingly enough, the most rewarding restoration stories we receive have always been from people that happened upon their antique range strictly by accident. They fell in love with their stove and dedicated their efforts to bring their range back to full use and beauty applying the techniques in our manuals.   Using the publications we provide, you can learn to  purchase the right stove, repair the clock and timer to work like new, restore the bakelite dials, plastic or glass on your range,  fix the doors so they close correctly, revive the existing original finish on your range, fix chipped porcelain, learn to date and research the range or tune and tweak the mechanical sections  of your stove to perfection.  It can all be done in the convenience of your home and on your time schedule. You can imagine how terrific you are going to feel saving 60-80% on labor costs. Because you care the most about how well your stove restoration is completed, you can take all the time you need to get the results you alone are satisfied with.  (Note: Quite a few of our students have been so greatly inspired with refinishing their own stove, they have gone on to make a full time profession from it and get paid quite well for their efforts.)   Age or gender is unimportant. The key is simply desire and dedication.  Remember> If you think you can or think you can; you're always right!   Our copyrighted publications are in the Smithsonian, the Library of Congress and many libraries throughout America.   Each of our Do It Yourself publications comes with a full year of backup if you should need help along the way with the publication topic you purchased. This alone will save you the maximum amount of  time and money so you will actually enjoy investing your labor under the correct knowledge. You never have to go it alone or wonder if you are heading in the right direction. That's our guarantee!     Recycling and Remanufacturing     For 40 years our primary interest in antique stove restoration is to go much further than just recycling.  By utilizing carefully orchestrated remanufacturing techniques, 90% of all energy needed to make a new range is eliminated. The result is your kitchen will have a beautiful and efficient stove for decades and decades that will require a minimum amount of care. As an extra bonus, you may not even realize it, but if you take good care of your classic stove, it will silently continue to accrue in value like a good investment. If you wish to sell it someday, you will be pleasantly surprised that you will get back all of your investment and probably a tidy sum more just for letting it be part of your life.  Like real estate, they ain't making any more of these classic cookers!       OWNER'S BOOKLETS - FACTORY SERVICE MANUALS - COOKBOOKS   Many new old stove owners would love to learn more about the stove they own. We have a large archive of information on select stoves and have accumulated information on a great deal of antique ranges, refrigerators, and other old appliances that are featured in our vintage appliance magazine - The Old Road Home. The Old Road Home  is the only publication of its kind in the world that deals directly and only with older appliances. You can even become a member of The Old Appliance Club and receive personalized service in relation to the appliance you own + FREE issues of The Old Road Home vintage appliance magazine. Each issue is unique and filled with stories from folks that restored their own ranges, archive information, products for antique ranges, classifieds and lots of other fun experiences for readers that just love antique stoves and appliances.   WHY USE AN ANTIQUE STOVE?     During the past four decades our main concentration has been on antique stoves. We use them, love them and believe in American made ranges and the millions of workers that helped construct them. Antique stoves are sturdy and were manufactured from the best materials available by companies that were proud of what they produced.   In well over 1,000 interviews on radio, newspapers, and magazines we have always given the bulk of credit to all of the original stove corporations that designed and manufactured these incredible stoves. Surely no one could have imagined that a stove built in the 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s etc. would still be the meal-prep workhorse in thousands of kitchens across the planet, yet they continue to be, year after year.  We didn't invent nor create them, but we can keep a good range (no matter what the age) operating as good or better than they were designed to perform because of the availability of improved materials and restoration techniques.   Not everyone wants to use or own an antique stove and that's fine. Not to offend anyone, but once you try cooking on a classic stove that works as it really should, you probably will never go back to what is available on the mass market. Nostalgia is certainly a great part of why people want to incorporate an antique stove into their kitchen, but moreover Quality is Quality and the test of time has proven their longevity. And above all, it's down right fun to cook on an antique stove!     THE BONUS OF OWNING AN ANTIQUE STOVE   Older ranges are worth buying and restoring. In some cases they might cost more than most new stoves from the big box stores, but they won't go down in price as the years go on.   Our motto at J.E.S. Enterprises, Inc. and The Old Appliance Club has always been: To Work Up to a Standard and Not Down to a Price. If you have one of these fabulous antique stoves and are willing to invest some time and a few bucks, it will be the best and least expensive range you will ever own for the rest of your life! We will do our best to help you rebuild your antique stove so it can last for generations to come.   As the years pass, you will enjoy its beauty and funtionality more and more. What you will save from not having to continually buy and replace a stove (as it wears out) will prove the results of your intuition and interest were right!     Antique Stove Owners Around the U.S.A Sharing Their Joy read below!   Their Chambers Became the Cover Story for This Old House Magazine..... "A few years back your site really helped me while in the midst of a kitchen/whole house restoration. Now six years later my kitchen and my house have made it to the cover of This Old House magazine! I purchased a Chambers safety valve from you as well as a few other parts I needed. A picture of my Chambers stove is on page 84 of the June 2008  issue of the magazine and I made sure they mentioned The Old Appliance Club in the Directory section in the back! Thought you might like to take a look! Thanks again for your invaluable service to those of us who love old stoves!" Sharon and Jim Wade - Texas O'Keefe & Merritt Eldorado Stove Saved from Certain Death in Scrap Pile... My wife loves our double oven OKM Eldorado gas stove but it drives us crazy anytime we need a part or service. Recently we needed a valve rebuilt. A local company that supposedly did repairs on the oven either never returned phone calls or did not show when scheduled. Just when we were ready to scrap the oven, I found JES on the internet and contacted them. Instead of just telling me to send the part in for replacement they had me check several things to try and correct the problem. JES sent me a block off kit so we could continue using the oven, provided excellent advice both written and over the phone and rebuilt the valve for me. They are a God Send! I now know where I can get great advice, do it your self help and parts whenever I need it. Thank you JES. The Carodines - Texas   Western-Holly Oven Now Working Perfectly! Griffis - UT   Saved Hundreds of Dollars and 14 Days Time   Hello JES,    I was the man who found a beautiful old stove at the church rummage sale. When I transferred it to my home and started cleaning it I found a tag under the top of the stove which  said: parts for ignition system - obsolete - no longer available! I thought I was really stuck. Our appliance company in town said they could only save the stove with a total revamp using generic parts. At best, it didn't sound good, and it would take 14 days and hundreds of dollars in parts and labor. What a blessing to find you all on the web. Your service techs knew exactly what to do. In 4 days time my parts were rebuilt and the range was cooking up a storm. I saved hundreds of dollars and everything was no problem to install following your instructions. You can bank on my business for as long as I own this stove. The instructions you sent were examined by our gas stove serviceman. He was really impressed. I cannot thank you enough. Again, thank you for all your help and advice on this. There is no way we could have ever got this done without it. Take care, W.Brisbois - CA What a Difference Just $18.00 Made..... Hi JES, The service company I hired gave me such a hard time about fixing our beloved 1940s Wedgewood range I was convinced it was time to throw it out. I had to pay them $125.00 for poking around in our stove, shaking their head and leaving us flat. This made me angry and quite distrustful. My wife runs a lot cooler than I and found your company through the Better Business Bureau. When she called you, she explained what happened to our stove. I was stunned when she told me all that was needed was an $18.00 publication to track down the problem. It seemed too easy. I figured this was just the beginning and it would cost more and more to fix. The person she spoke to at your firm  assured us this was a minor problem that can even fool a trained appliance person at times. You can imagine our joy when we followed the troubleshooting  guide and cured the problem without purchasing one part!
